The scene where Gary's car door is taken off by a passing car, was done in one take, with two cameras. There was no stunt double in the car - Michael Laurence did the shot himself.
When Gary was called by "The Operator", he was actually getting a real phone call from her on-set. The dialing, and ring, had to be coordinated by the shooting crew to fit in the right place with the scene.
