The Prankster was filmed at the same high school the producer/director attended as a teen; San Rafael High School.
The Prankster was supposed to film on location at San Rafael High during the summer break, but logistics during pre-production pushed the shoot into the school year. The Prankster was shot on location while school was in session. (So - some of those crowd scenes are real!)
