The band split up immediately after this gig, and Eldritch did not perform live again for five years.
This is the only official recording of The Sisters of Mercy in their three piece Eldritch - Hussey - Adams line up. (The film 'Black Planet' features Marx on guitar though not on screen.)
The band, at the time famed for their encores, played a further three songs, which were not filmed. Some European soundtrack album releases feature these three songs also.
The band's drummer is in fact a drum machine, named Doktor Avalanche
Eldritch apparently had cracked ribs and was strapped up and heavily medicated while on stage.
