Actors Allen Lewis Rickman and Yelena Shmulenson are married in real life and have appeared at the beginning of the Coen Brothers film "A Serious Man" as the Shtetl husband and wife, and are recurring characters on "Boardwalk Empire." Rickman plays George Baxter the hilarious traveling salesman.
Writer and actor Lisa Ferber is also an accomplished painter who has exhibited at the National Arts Club, Mayson Gallery, and other notable venues. She created all the paintings seen in The Sisters Plotz.
