The film was made already in 2005, but then the distributors rejected it and thus eventually the original production company went down and the project was halted for several years. It was only in 2013 when the film was first shown in public.
The theatrical nationwide release was first announced to be in November 2013, but then postponed to February 7th 2014. In late January 2014 it was however announced that this February release was canceled, and the distributor aims to make theatrical release at the same time as the film will be released in digital distribution channels in September or October.
