80% of the lights were on a dimmer. Including the China balls, spot lights, stage lighting and dance floor. This was manned by the lighting director. Every cue was called out manually and he would control the lighting live like a play.
The cast and crew rehearsed for 3 weeks before the cameras started rolling from start to finish.
The movie was so long that the memory card that was on it only had 5 minutes of space left after 119 minutes of rolling.
The 5th and final attempt at a single shot is the one seen in the movie.
The director, Thane Economou, has a small cameo in the film. He is the waiter who takes Greta's binder from Jim at the end of the film.
