The movie's two references to the "psycho" antagonist, Jamie, result in a closing tribute to the author of Alfred Hitchcock's classic, ground-breaking slasher film, "Psycho", Robert Bloch. As the movie fades into the final scene, the institution that Jamie is committed to is revealed to be the "Bloch Mental Hospital."
This is one of the Lifetime movies where the villain does get away with their crimes.
