Shooting for this movie began in October of 2001 and ended in March of 2009.
The scene shot in the RV (Recreational Vehicle) was originally to be shot in a club. The shooting of another scene ran longer than planned, and the crew missed the time slot. This left the crew scrambling to resolve the issue, and the RV idea was born. The RV that was used was the actual RV the crew was using on the shoot.
The original story was told from the character Ande's perspective. This was later changed to Chris' perspective.
A friends pit bull jumped up and bit the sound boom at the "Ande's House" location. This brought shooting to a temporary halt.
"Chris: Yeah my f**kin' mother. That c**t doesn't give a s**t about me. She wouldn't give me anything if she had it. And that's all there is to it. I'm f**ked!"
