Trivia

The movie was inspired by the life of Douglas Bransom and his love of trains and dinosaurs. Douglas was 7 when he was hit and killed by a frontover accident by a neighbor's SUV. The storyline of the runaway engine became a frequent conversation between father and son.

The implosion of the Trojan Nuclear Cooling tower sets the backdrop for the damaged track for the runaway engine on Train Master.
