TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

While filming scenes in Llantrisant, Wales, Lee Evans fell from a window and landed on a large nail. The sharp spike pierced his body and narrowly missed one of his kidneys.

This is the second comedy starring Brenda Blethyn where she discovers that the man she was faithfully married to was a philanderer, the first being "Saving Grace."

In the earlier Christopher Walken movie, 'Scam' (1993) (TV), Jack Shanks (Christopher Walken) says in one of his schemes, that he is a mortician from Milwaukee. In 'Undertaking Betty'/'Plots with a View' (2002), funeral director Frank Featherbed (Christopher Walken) says he ''...specialised in accident victims back home in Milwaukee'' where he ''graduated from the Sheboygan School of Morticians.''

Popular Dialogues

"Betty Rhys-Jones: Why couldn't I have fallen in love with a travel agent?"

"Delbert Butterfield: Frank. Frank Featherbed: Huh? Delbert Butterfield: Why do old people have such huge ears? Frank Featherbed: It's cartilage. Keeps growing. Delbert Butterfield: But they hear less. Frank Featherbed: It shall remain a mystery."
