War is a Hindi action thriller film that revolves around Kabir, a former Indian Army soldier who goes rogue, and his protege Khalid, who is tasked with taking him down in an intense series of battles to prove who is the best of them all. Furthermore, performances by the cast including Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are quite realistic as their portrayal gives you a good idea of two mercenaries. The film works because of its engaging storyline and a tremendous screenplay that lights up the screen from the first minute of the film. On top of that, the action choreography is also top notch. Overall, War is one of the best YRF action movies that will keep you hooked till the end. With impressive performances, great action sequences, and a gripping storyline, the film is definitely worth a watch for action movie lovers.

Hrithik Roshan signed the film on a condition that Tiger Shroff should be cast in the other role.

Om Prakash, for whom the original 'Jai Jai Shiv Shankar' was one of the most famous songs (picturised on on Rajesh Khanna & Mumtaz) from one of his most famous movies as a director-producer: AAP KI KASAM. J. Om Prakash passed away just a couple months before WAR released, at age 93.
