First screen acting credit for Dennis Woodruff. Beginning in the 1980s, Woodruff began extensively decorating his cars as a self promotion to try to get acting work in films. The cars would be painted with slogans like "Cast Dennis Woodruff" and he would park them outside Hollywood studios. His cars became a bit of a Hollywood landmark, much like Angelyne's billboards. In the L.A.-set movie Volcano (1997), both Dennis Woodruff's car and Angelyne's billboard are both destroyed by the erupting volcano.
