TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The castration scene was something that the director initially wanted to include in one of his earliest film Óðal feðranna (1980), some 20 years earlier, but his coworkers persuaded him that the Icelandic moviegoers weren't ready for something that gruesome in an Icelandic film at the time.

Sara Dögg Ásgeirsdóttir's debut.
