Sequel of the film was made 20 years later by Mahesh Kothare where his son Adinath Kothare played the lead as son of late Laxmikanth Berde.
Ventriloquist Ramdas Padhye created the doll Tatya Vinchu he also makes an appearance in the film as himself.

Due to the events that take place in the film, sound effects were much more advance than in the previous Mahesh Kothare Films. Sound designer and co-supervising sound editor had perfectly mixed the sound which gave exact horror effects,a film needs.
