Fujitsu Lifebook AH531 Laptop (Core i3 2nd Gen/4 GB/750 GB/DOS)

Bought it for my dad as he wanted big screen laptop with good hard disk capacity and decent amount of RAM to last for at least three years. He wants to use it for internet and multimedia purpose. I think Fujitsu delivers what he needs. Pros: 1. Solid build quality (made in Germany tag) 2. Great specification for that price (best fit for my dad) 3. Decent weight for that size of laptop 4. Single good tool to install all system drivers and lets you download the latest one when needed Cons: 1. Unconventionally Enter and Left Shift key are shortened to accommodate slash and backslash. This causes hugh typing problems until you get used to it . 2. Audio output is quite low. I see this is common problem across Fujitsu laptops. Had to buy external speakers to compensate. Overall a good deal. As usual Flipkart service is awesome.

This is quite the best price (27.8k) to be paid for this configuration (as on June 2012). The free gift of bag is also quite good. System has A windows experience index of 6.7 in processor. Only let down by Intel HD 3000 score of 4ish in Desktop Graphics department. Advantages 1) Excellent build quality as evidenced by the high quality finished feel of the exterior of screen and keyboard 2) Fast system with lots of space and RAM and latest Intel processor + mother board on board 3) I have installed Fujitsu programs (drivers) that is light and fast and not as intrusive as those issued for example by Dell 4) Good Value for money - as written earlier. 5) Excellent battery backup - 7.20 hours in low screen light with wifi On. I cant find any faults in the system, some 6 years back Fujitsu systems were all priced north of 70k and was inaccessible to main stream consumers. Now the brand and their build quality has reached the average consumers and they do not disappoint.
