Rockstar Games has officially revealed the cover art for Grand Theft Auto 6 and confirmed that pre-orders will open on 25 June across digital stores and select retailers around the world. The cover brings the game’s two main characters, Jason and Lucia, into focus while showing off a vibrant, modern version of Vice City that sets the tone for the action-packed world players will explore.
The game is scheduled to launch on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and on Xbox Series X|S after more than a decade of waiting and two official delays. GTA 6 is undoubtedly the most anticipated game in the series’ history and quite possibly the entire gaming industry, so it’s no surprise an official release makes such waves. Let’s take a deeper look at what we know so far.

The artwork uses Rockstar’s signature collage style with comic-book panels that burst with fast cars, sporty bikes, helicopters, palm trees, glowing neon lights and a sun-drenched city beside the water. Jason and Lucia stand at the centre of the cover, surrounded by the chaos and energy that define the GTA experience.
A biker pulls a wheelie near a police cruiser, a helicopter armed with a minigun flies overhead, and details like a speedboat, a bright pink flamingo and an alligator lurking at the bottom hint at the wild mix of vehicles, wildlife and unexpected moments players will encounter in the game.
While the cover art is undeniably classic Rockstar, the lack of pricing details this close to pre-orders is a bit disappointing. This reveal, while exciting, leaves fans wondering if Rockstar is holding back on purpose to build anticipation for a bigger announcement later this month, and there are quite a few conjectures from fans that the final trailer might possibly drop on June 25, the truth of which remains to be seen.
Pre-orders start soon, but the price remains unknown
Rockstar has not announced the price or the different editions yet and there’s no reliable way to tell how much the game will cost or what each version includes. Players can add GTA 6 to their wishlists on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store so they get alerts when pre-orders open on 25 June.
Rockstar will reveal the price and edition details before the end of June, which means buyers will know exactly what they pay and what bonuses or collectibles come with each option. Until that price announcement drops, the cover art and the 25 June pre-order date are the only fixed details available as of now.
Given the unknown price and editions, we recommend holding off on pre-ordering until Rockstar provides full details later this month. For those too eager to secure a copy, wishlisting is recommended.
