Display and Configuration

The HCL Me Icon AE1V2877-X laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit display which has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The system is driven by a 2.3GHz Intel core i5-2410M processor seated upon Intel HM65 Express chipset. It is aided by 4GB of DDR3 RAM which is expandable upto 8GB. A 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M graphics card results sharp visualisation while playing games and watching movies/videos. The laptop runs on Windows 7 Home Basic operating system floating upon 64-bit architecture.

Camera and Battery

A 1.3MP webcam is armed in the HCL Me Icon AE1V2877-X above the display screen. It captures nice quality videos and supports 720p HD resolution recording. Acting as an energy booster, is a 6 cell li-ion battery which claims to render a backup for around 5 hours. 

Storage and Connectivity

For storage needs, there is a 750GB SATA hard disk present where one can save a large number of different files. On the connectivity front, the laptop offers options such as a Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0, two USB 2.0 slots, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port.

Input Devices and Sound

Input devices namely a touchpad with multi touch gesture support, a standard Notebook Keyboard and a DVD Writer perform well and is quick to respond. The sound quality output from the stereo speakers is pleasant to the ears.
