The HCL Me Z400 D tablet has an excellent battery backup which keeps the show running for long hours. Even the 5MP back camera results decent quality pictures. However, the outdated operating system is a drawback.

The HCL Me Z400 D flaunts a 9.7-inch IPS LCD display with a native resolution of 768 x 1,024 pixels. The tablet with a pixel density of 132ppi results into poor display quality. The single SIM tablet is backed up by a quad-core Cortex A7 processor with a power supply of 1.2GHz. The chipset also has Mali-400 graphics and 1GB RAM resulting into a seamless performance in the workflow. The silver coloured tab also features Accelerometer sensor. The tablet runs on an outdated Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system.

The HCL Me Z400 D sports a 5MP camera at the back inclusive of digital zoom feature. it also has a 0.3MP front camera for selfie lovers. The tab has an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expanded upto 32GB using a microSD card.

The HCL Me Z400 Dconsumes its energy from a 6,000mAh Li-Po non-removable which renders an excellent backup for long hours. The tablet features a wide range of connectivity options such as GPRS, EDGE, 3G, voice calling, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth and USB port availability. One can enjoy music by plugging a 3.5mm audio jack.
