The Honor Bee 2 is a VoLTE handset with cool features say smart key and rainbow light. But it is a disappointment when the performance is concerned. Additionally, less battery backup, poor display, low-resolution cameras etc. makes it a thumbs down to go for. However, if only smart key and rainbow light is your first impression, irrespective of setup, then you can go for the Honor Bee 2.
Display and Configuration
The Honor Bee 2 flaunts a 4.5-inch TFT display and features a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It is driven by a 1.3GHz Cortex A53 quad-core processor coupled by 1GB of RAM seated upon MediaTek MT6735 chipset. The phone boots on Android v5.1 (Lollipop) operating system.
A multi-color ring (Rainbow light) is present around the camera which lights up with every notification. The phone also features a smart key which can be used to launch any app.
Camera, Storage, and Sound
The smartphone is stacked by a 5MP main camera and a 2MP selfie shooter for photography and videography needs. The Honor Bee 2 houses an 8GB space in terms of internal storage. The external memory card slot can read any memory card up to 32GB. The sound quality of this phone is very good, creating acoustic type surrounding environment.
Connectivity and Battery
On the connectivity ground, the handset supports dual SIM, 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS and microUSB 2.0. The phone is fuelled by a 2,100mAh li-ion battery which renders a good amount of talk time for long hours.
