The HP 14-am118tx (Z4Q10PA) laptop is an allrounder which can face all types of multitasking at ease. Although, it misses out full HD display but keeping that feature aside, the laptop has almost all the elements which the user desires at present scenario. You can enjoy high end gaming and run high range apps for long hours as the battery backup is also very good. However, if webcam is a major demand and image clarity is an issue for you, you can check out some other options. Alternatively, you can spend a little extra money and buy a full HD webcam.

The HP 14-am118tx (Z4Q10PA) laptop has a 14-inch HD SVA brightview WLED-backlit display and features a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It measures 345 x 241 x 23.9mm and comes in a well designed silver coloured body. Under the hood, there is a 2.5GHz Intel core i5-7200U processor assisted by 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The picture quality of this laptop is very clear and nice, thanks to the 2GB AMD Radeon R5 M430 graphics engine. The device boots on Windows 10 operating system and is weighs 1.9Kg.

Camera and Connectivity

One can enjoy video calling and shoot videos with the help of HP truevision webcam and integrated digital microphone. Networking and sharing options include Ethernet 10/100 BASE-T, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 2.0 slots, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, a VGA port and a multi-format SD media card reader.

Battery, Input Devices and Storage

The device is fuelled by a 4 cell li-ion battery which keeps the show running for long hours. Input devices include touchpad with multi-touch gestures support, full-size island style keyboard and supermulti DVD burner. As far as the storage is concerned, there is a 1TB SATA HDD present which revolves at a speed of 5,400RPM.
