HP Pavilion 15-ab029TX (M2W72PA) Laptop (Core i5 5th Gen/4 GB/1 TB/Windows 8 1/2 GB)

Got this one from Croma.nIt was priced at 50K for I-day. Got it at 46.7K(after opting out of gift package and availing TATA discount). At this price, it's a steal.nBoots up in 8 seconds. Build quality is good. However, the lack of color options(only silver and white) in pavilion series is frustrating. nFull HD, i5 processor and NVIDIA really make user experience butter smooth.nNVIDIA GeForce 940M is a different beast altogether. nBang & Olufsen (B&O) speaker is much better that beats/dolby.nnPros:n1080p Display. Trust me, You are gonna love it.n1TB HDD(which I think is almost standard in this price range)nNVIDIA 940M. Super powerful.nBuild of the laptop. Although it's prone to scratches.nBattery Backup- Almost 4-5 hours in normal usage.nLaptop Bag- Super cool HP 15.6 in Gray Odyssey Backpack. U will love it.nIt costs 3.5K in the market. :) Not sure if flipkart provides the same bag.nnCons:n4GB DDR3. Any laptop > 50K should come with 8GB DDR3.nPrice(52K) is a bit high. nnGo for it if U get it under 50K. U won't have any regrets.nnI have updated to WIN 10. Please note that it will remove all our existing drivers and update with default drivers. So, it's better if you note down the driver version before upgrading to Win 10. Also, my brightness control din't work after the upgrade. Fixed it by upgrading the NVIDIA driver. Other issues may include blurry text/windows in win10.nHowever, these are OS related issues, nothing to do with the lappy.nnRegards

This is a solid laptop. Really great offers too. I purchased it for 48000. nPros:n1.Really good specsn2.solid battery life of around 5-6 hours.n3.Fast internet. Really good connection speeds.n4. Fast to receive windows 10. Got it the day I reserved it.n5.Really bad customer support from hp.nnCons:n1.Bad viewing angles n2.Get a little bit heated up on gaming.n3.Bad support for Windows 8.1 after loading up n4.Pretty bad setup .Ran into many problems after setting the laptop up. Gotta reinstall the OS again. n5. Check all the keys,mine came with a non-functioning function keynnOverall a solid product for the price and great expandability too.
