HP Pavilion 15-N207AX (F6C54PA) Laptop (AMD Quad Core/4 GB/500 GB/Windows 8 1/1 GB)

I am not biased but coincidentally I am having too much of hands on experience on HP-Compaq than with any other Laptop brand. At my native I have a Compaq Presario Laptop for 6 years now and no probs so far. At office I have used several HP laptops and now I bought this machine. I did a very serious market research before opting for this model. I had initially ordered ASUS S56CA-30H which comes with Windows 7HB from another eretail portal (Not Flipkart). But I was duped, I was shipped a showroom display/refurbished product. The product was returned and entire money was refunded. My basic requirements were: Slimness, 15inch, respectable proccy power and audio clarity. My primary usage is for multitasking, audio and video editing etc. This laptop almost fulfilled all above req. Pros: . Slim - just 23mm . semi-glossy finish - Metallic Horizontal Finish - Looks great . AMD Quad core proccy - its too good - quarrels and comparisons will go forever, it atleast serves my requirement. . Number keys present - a boon to people who use excel a lot. . 4GB ram was already there, I upgraded to total 8GB. System is super smooth now. . Just 2.3kg - neither very light or heavy - quiet portable. . Got 1 year ADP from HP. . And awesome webcam - I havent seen such a clean and clear video clarity in any laptop webcam. Cons. . The finish is not metallic but brushed metallic which is semi-glossy. Hand rest area attracts light fingerprints if you hand is dirty etc. . Audio quality not that great, but satisfactory. . 2 USB 3.0 ports on the left placed very close to each other. If you are looking for a classy slim laptop... Go for AMD and HP n207AX. Too Good. This beast comes equipped with a quad core processor and a Radeon 8670M The Quad Core is more than enough for everyday tasks and also the Radeon 8670 is capable of handling and graphics related workload. This is the best laptop available in this price range and it comes with windows 8.1 too. Also the 500gig HDD is enough for the everyday user. I have bought 3 of these laptops and all of them work smoothly and I use them for LAN parties and they do the job perfectly.
