Verdict

The HP 15q-bu004tu (2LS31PA) is a lightweight laptop, easy to carry it around. It has a strong processor for heavy multitasking usage. The laptop features a massive storage and the battery backup is great. However, the absence of a preloaded Windows OS around this budget is a disappointment.

Display and Configuration

The HP 15q-bu004tu (2LS31PA) features a 15.6-inch HD SVA BrightView WLED backlit display which has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. In order to run the system, there is a 2GHz Intel Core i3-6006U processor assisted by a 4GB of DDR4 RAM and an onboard Intel HD 620 graphics engine. The laptop runs on DOS operating system sailing upon 64-bit architecture.

Battery and Connectivity

The laptop is fuelled by a  4 cell Li-ion battery which claims to keep the show running for around 4 hours. On the networking front, the HP 15q-bu004tu (2LS31PA) offers a wide range of options such as Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, one USB 2.0 slot, an SD card reader, a headphone jack and a microphone jack.
