HP ProBook 4430s Laptop (Core i3 2nd Gen/2 GB/320 GB/DOS)

This laptop is solidly built and sports a minimalistic but elegant look. Brushed aluminium used on the lid and the top nnplate looks much superior than cheap, gaudy plastic on some consumer laptops. However, some people might think the design nntoo bland for their taste. nnPerformance for routine tasks is more than adequate. I'm not a gamer at all so I don't how gaming performance would be.nnWindows Experience Index on Windows 7 is 4.5. My purpose for this laptop was purely work and not entertainment.nKeeping that in mind, 14 inch is the perfect size and this one is convenient and feels great to use.nnCore i3 is a decent performer with Windows Experience rating of 6.4 for the processor and overall 5.4 as the base index scored for 2D graphics. 3d graphics score is 5.9nOverall the performance is good and with Windows 7 it is really slick.nHave ordered for 8 GB Transcend RAM from Flipkart and it should be even better after the upgrade.nnIt has all the basic features required plus USB3.0 and a modem (as it is a business laptop)nThe camera quality is Ok and sound is decent as well.nBattery lasts around 4 hours and is Ok as well.nKeyboard layout is good and typing is convenient.nnWeight is medium and does not feel too heavy nor is it too light either.nnThere are no great cons for this laptop and exactly suits my requirement.nnI was looking out for an i5 processor but for the work I do, I figured out I really wouldn't need a higher specced CPU and is not worth spending few extra thousands on features I may not sue most of the time.nnThis one does the job well and is the right choice if you know what you need it for.nnHighly recommend this laptop.
