Display and Design 

The HP ProBook 450 G2 (J5P13UT) Laptop (Core i3 4th Gen/4 GB/500 GB/Windows 7) sports a 15.6-inch HD Anti-Glare LED-Backlit display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It gets a rusty grey colour and weighs about 2.2Kg. For pointing and typing, it has full size spill-resistant keyboard and multi-touch gesture supported touchpad.

Processor and OS

The Probook functions on Intel Core i3 fourth generation 4030U Processor with a  clock speed of just 1.9GHz. It also consists of basic Intel HD 4400 graphics with no dedicated memory; and it takes care of primary visual and multimedia needs. The onboard memory is 4GB DDR3 RAM which could be expanded to 8GB using two unused memory slots. The laptop runs on Windows 7 Professional OS. Being a professional OS, it is useful mainly for business oriented jobs.

 

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

For video chat and taking webcam photos and videos, the HP ProBook 450 G2 (J5P13UT) is catered with webcam which is capable of 720p HD recording. Stereo speakers working on DTS Sound+ and HD audio solution along with dual array microphones form the sound systems. The primary storage unit is 500-gigabyte SATA type hard disk drive (HDD) which can store ample personal data. The disk data transfer is done with ease by using the DVD +/- RW SuperMulti DL optical drive. 

 

Connectivity and Battery

For connection and expansion purposes, the HP ProBook 450 G2 (J5P13UT) comes with HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T etc. A 4-cell Li-ion battery is provided to juice-up the device.
