Display and Design

The HP ProBook 450 (J3V21AV) sports a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit SVA display offering decent viewing experience from wide angles with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The matte anti glare coating on the top lets you view things clearly even under bright light. It is housed in a smart and solid looking grey coloured outfit with a thickness of 25.4mm and a weight of 2.3kg.

Processor and OS

For driving its processes, the HP ProBook 450 (J3V21AV) is equipped with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3 processor from the fourth generation. It is assisted by an 8GB DDR3 RAM which functions at 1,600MHz and can deal with powerful multitasking seamlessly. The RAM can be further increased up to 16GB via two DIMM slots. Rich videos and movies are managed by the preloaded Intel HD 4400 GPU. It ships with 64 bit Windows 7 Home Basic OS.

Camera and Storage

The HP ProBook 450 (J3V21AV) accounts for the video calling needs of the user with a HD webcam and inbuilt microphone. The 500GB SATA hard disk operating at 5,400rpm provides plenty of space for creating a library of files. It is also equipped with SuperMulti DVD drive having dual layer support, which is useful in exchanging data via disks.

Battery and Connectivity

Keeping the notebook juiced up for a decent period of time is a 4 cell Li-ion battery. From the connectivity point of view, the device packs Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI out, VGA port, two USB 2.0 slots, digital media reader, Bluetooth v4.0 and WLAN.
