Powerful but not exactly elite
Display and Design

The HP Elitebook 720 G1 (J8V79UT) features a 12.5-inch HD SVA flat LED backlit display which looks good with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Thanks to the anti glare coating on the top that the screen doesn’t create problems in viewing under bright light.

The stylish grey coloured machine has a waistline of 21mm and a weight of 1.3kg, so that you don’t face problems in carrying it. It has a spill resistant keyboard with drain facility and standard touchpad.

Processor and OS

Under the hood, the HP Elitebook 720 G1 (J8V79UT) is packed with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i5 processor from the fourth generation. It is aided by a standard 4GB DDR3 RAM which operates at 1,600MHz and is further expandable up to 16GB via SODIMM slots. The responsibility of handling intensive games and videos with the integrated Intel HD 4400 GPU. It ships with 64-bit Windows 7 Professional OS. 

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The laptop carries HD webcam and dual array microphone for providing mesmerizing video calling experience. The 500GB SATA HDD operating at 7,200rpm provide sufficient memory and quick response. Powered by DTS Studio Sound, the two stereo speakers deliver crisp and rich audio quality.

Battery and Connectivity

The HP Elitebook 720 G1 (J8V79UT) is fuelled by a 3 cell Li-ion battery and can be connected via Ethernet, Bluetooth v4.0, HDMI out, digital media reader, VGA port, three USB 3.0 slots, one USB 2.0 slot and WLAN. The DisplayPort and Docking connector come handy during various situations.
