The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab 2, as is evident from the name, is a 6-inch phablet with powerful configuration. The only changes spotted are the updated Android KitKat platform and 8MP camera. Otherwise it is more or less the same package with a new name.

Display, Design and Configuration

The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab 2, as the name indicates, houses a 6-inch IPS LCD HD (720 x 1,280 pixels) display with a pixel density of 245ppi. The multi touch display supports up to five fingers in one go. It has a thickness of 9mm and a weight of 160g.

On the inside, it is packed with a 1.2GHz quad-core Marvell PXA1088 processor working in tandem with a 1GB RAM. It is preloaded with Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS which is way better than its predecessor's Jelly Bean platform.

Camera and Storage

The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab 2 also receives an upgrade in terms of the rear camera. It features an 8MP autofocus camera inclusive of LED flash and a 2MP front snapper. It has an inbuilt memory of 16GB expandable up to 32GB.

Battery and Communication

The HP Slate 6 VoiceTab 2 sips juice from a 3,000mAh Li-ion battery promising up to 13.5 hours and 10.5 hours of talk time in 2G and 3G networks respectively. The dual SIM phablet supports voice calls besides 3G, Wi-Fi, Mobile hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v3.0 with EDR and USB port.
