iPhone 16 offer: how to get it for Rs 69,999

The iPhone 16 128GB variant is listed at Rs 76,999 on Amazon. Buyers can get an additional Rs 6,250 discount with SBI debit or credit cards, bringing the effective price to Rs 70,749. The price drops to Rs 69,999 only with SBI credit card no-cost EMI offers, however, so buyers who pay in full may end up paying slightly more.

Some earlier reports mentioned better discounts on the iPhone 16, including a Rs 500 coupon, but we only found the Rs 6,250 SBI card offer when checking Amazon. These deals can change quickly, so keep in mind that the effective price may have changed depending on when you buy.

Should you buy the iPhone 16?

The Apple iPhone 16 (review) is a pretty decent deal around Rs 70,000, especially with the iPhone 17 now listed at Rs 99,900. The newer model does offer some useful upgrades, including a smoother 120Hz display, a faster A19 chip, a better 48MP ultrawide camera and an improved 18MP front camera. It also doubles the base storage from 128GB to 256GB.

The iPhone 16, however, still offers excellent performance with its A18 chip, a 48MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera and support for Apple Intelligence. Its biggest drawback is the 60Hz display, which feels less smooth than the iPhone 17 (review)’s panel. Although, if you mostly use your phone for social media, photography, streaming and everyday tasks, the older model should still serve you well.

At this price, the iPhone 16 is the better buy for most users. The iPhone 17’s upgrades are useful, but the price gap is not easy to justify unless you specifically want the upgrades or have money to spare.
