iQOO is slated to launch a new Neo series smartphone in China on August 18th. The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra will be a more powerful version of the Neo 11, the other phone in the lineup. Speaking of which, iQOO has confirmed the Neo 11 Ultra will use the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500M processor. This is a new 3nm chipset, designed to deliver flagship performance.

The Dimensity 9500M chipset has been co-developed by iQOO and MediaTek. It’s built on the 3nm process and features an all-big-core CPU design housing the next-generation Monster Super Core Engine. The chipset is said to have been specially tuned for the Neo 11 Ultra and is designed to deliver peak performance while maintaining better energy efficiency.

The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is confirmed to feature a new 2K display with a new Circular Polarized Light 2.0 technology designed to make the display look more natural while reducing strain at the same time. The smartphone is confirmed to house a large 9,100mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver 13.7 hours of uninterrupted gameplay in popular MOBA titles and 23 hours of continuous short video playback. This is also much bigger than the Neo 11 Ultra’s 7,500mAh battery.
iQOO has also revealed the Neo 11 Ultra’s design. It has an interesting camera design, with the two camera sensors placed horizontally. The smartphone is also confirmed to feature a metal frame and a matte finish with a 3D flowing light effect at the back. It will come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Neo 11 Ultra is shaping up to be a performance-focused smartphone with a large battery and customised chipset.
