The Moto G47, which launched in Europe in April, is set to receive a new variant called the Moto G47 Power. The handset was previously spotted on the TDRA certification website carrying the model number XT2625-15. Now, it has appeared in Europe’s EPREL energy efficiency database, further hinting at an impending launch. While Motorola has yet to officially confirm the device, these regulatory listings suggest an announcement is close. The latest entry also reveals several key specifications that could serve as major selling points.

Moto G47 Power specifications (expected)
The Moto G47 Power appears to be a battery-centric variant of the standard Moto G47. The EPREL database lists the handset with a 6,790mAh battery, which will likely be marketed as a 7,000mAh unit. This represents a significant jump over the standard Moto G47’s 5,200mAh cell. The Power variant is also tipped to support 33W wired charging.
The listing further mentions an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, alongside up to five years of security updates. If confirmed, the extended software support would address a longstanding user complaint regarding Motorola’s budget and mid-range devices.

While Motorola has not released official details, reported specifications point to a budget-friendly mid-range device. The smartphone will reportedly feature a 120Hz display (likely an LCD panel) and could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G SoC. For optics, it may carry a 108MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary lens on the back, along with an 8MP front-facing punch-hole camera for selfies and video calls.
On the software front, the Moto G47 Power could ship with Android 16 out of the box. In terms of design, it is expected to retain Motorola’s signature aesthetic, complete with a square camera module flush with the back panel and the familiar ‘batwing’ logo dimple. The device may arrive in two colourways: Green and Black.
In Europe, the Moto G47 Power is expected to be priced around Euro 270 (approximately Rs 28,600). Details regarding an India launch remain unconfirmed. In the meantime, buyers seeking large-battery smartphones under Rs 30,000 can consider alternatives like the Moto G77 Power (review), Redmi Note 17 (review), and Tecno Pova 8.
