Motorola Pad 60 Pro, Neo India prices reportedly revised; tipster hints at further hike

Highlights
  • Motorola has increased prices of Pad 60 Pro and Pad 60 Neo with the new pricing now live on the official website.
  • The Pad 60 Pro now starts at Rs 27,999, while Pad 60 Neo is priced at Rs 21,499 (Wi-Fi) and Rs 23,999 (5G).
  • Both tablets launched earlier in 2025 at lower prices, with bundled stylus included in the box.

Motorola’s Pad 60 series has become a little less affordable in India, with new prices now reflecting on the company’s website. The increase may not come as a surprise, as industry-wide we’ve been seeing brands hiking prices of their products even days after launch, seemingly because of memory components’ shortages. The Motorola tablets were popular for their bundled stylus support and strong specs at relatively aggressive launch prices.

Motorola Pad 60 Pro, Pad 60 Neo see noticeable jump

As per the latest pricing shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary on X, the Moto Pad 60 Pro with Pen now costs Rs 27,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and Rs 31,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The Moto Pad 60 Neo with Pen is listed at Rs 21,499 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 23,999 for the 5G version. According to the tipster, the price hike may not be final, with a possibility of another increase in the near term. While Motorola hasn’t formally announced the change, the revised pricing is already live across official channels, while some models are shown to be out of stock.

The Motorola Pad 60 Pro has moved up by Rs 1,000 from its launch price of Rs 26,999 for the base model, while the top variant has seen a sharper jump of Rs 3,000 from Rs 28,999. The Pad 60 Neo, meanwhile, originally launched at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB 5G model with WiFi and cellular connectivity, even though Motorola had later pushed its effective price lower through offers. The WiFi only model probably came later, as it had a single variant at launch.

The Pad 60 Pro still stands out for its 12.7-inch 3K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 8300 chip, 10,200mAh battery, quad JBL speakers and the bundled Moto Pen Pro. The Pad 60 Neo is the more compact option, with an 11-inch 2.5K 90Hz display, Dimensity 6300 5G, 7,040mAh battery and an included Moto Pen for note-taking and sketching.

At the new prices, Motorola is still trying to keep the Pad 60 line below premium tablets from Samsung and Apple, but the value gap has narrowed. The Pro model now sits closer to some upper mid-range Android tablets that also offer stylus support, while the Neo is less of a bargain than it was at launch, especially for buyers who were expecting bank offers or seasonal discounts.

If you were already planning to buy one, the current stock could still be the better deal before another revision. The Pad 60 Pro makes sense if you want a larger display, faster refresh rate and a more powerful chip for work, media and casual gaming. The Neo is the safer pick if portability matters more, but at the revised price, it is worth comparing it with other 5G Android tablets in the same bracket before jumping in.
