After OnePlus N6, OnePlus N6x set to launch in India soon with “familiar specs”

OnePlus N6 is the brand’s most affordable phone in 2026. It sits below the Nord series, specifically the Nord CE 6 Lite, after the latter received a price hike in June. The OnePlus N6 is priced at Rs 22,999 while the Nord CE 6 Lite costs Rs 25,999. It seems that’s not the only budget phone in the works. OnePlus N6 will soon be joined by the OnePlus N6x, a teaser on Amazon India confirms.

What do we know about the OnePlus N6x?

Not much, honestly. Tipster Yogesh Brar tweeted on Wednesday that there will be one more product in the N6 series, called the OnePlus N6x. Yes, the naming is getting a bit confusing. The phone will be “coming soon”, but there is no word yet on when exactly the device will be unveiled. OnePlus has also started teasing the launch of its smartphone on Amazon India.

The tipster added that the OnePlus N6x will come with “familiar specs”, suggesting it could share similarities with an existing phone. To recall, the OnePlus N6 shares a few common features with the Realme P4R, including an 8,000mAh battery, an HD+ LCD display, and 45W charging. The two phones use slightly different chipsets, though: the OnePlus N6 gets a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex, while the Realme P4R uses the Dimensity 6300.

In all likelihood, the OnePlus N6x will be cheaper than the N6, suggesting a sub-Rs 20,000 price point. The phone’s specifications are unclear at the moment, but we can expect the Amazon microsite to start revealing key details in the coming days.
