The OnePlus Nord CE4 registered a total time of 16 hours and 2 minutes to drop to 20 percent, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro took 12 hours and 46 minutes to achieve the same. The results are surprising, as the Nord CE4 does not feature a substantially bigger battery to offer such a better backup.

Video streaming
We set both phones to stream the same 30-minute YouTube video at similar resolution, brightness, and volume settings to gauge the battery drain on each device. While the OnePlus Nord CE4 shows a battery drain of 3 percent at the end of the streaming test, the Redmi Note 13 Pro depicted a drain of 4 percent.

Gaming test
To gauge the battery drain, we played BGMI, Real Racing, and Call of Duty: Mobile on both phones for 30 minutes each and at similar graphics settings. The OnePlus Nord CE4 registered a battery drain of 5.5 percent at the end of the test, while the Note 13 Pro registered a battery drain of 6 percent. The OnePlus Nord CE4 wins the gaming test with a miniscule margin.

Charging speed
In terms of charging speeds, the Nord CE4 comes with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging support and takes 35 minutes to recharge completely from 20 percent to 100 percent. In comparison, the Note 13 Pro comes with 67W fast charging support and takes roughly 46 minutes to achieve the same. Clearly, the Nord CE4 comes out ahead in the charging test, which isn’t surprising due to its faster charging speeds.

Verdict
Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus Nord CE4 wins the battery comparison against the Redmi Note 13 Pro. In line with the on-paper specifications, the Nord handset came out ahead in both the benchmark and real-world usage tests in comparison with the Redmi Note 13 Pro. However, do keep in mind that battery backup is only one aspect of usage and the Redmi Note 13 Pro brings along a 200MP primary camera and a higher resolution display to the table.
But again, the Nord CE4 features a more powerful processor and better battery performance. Once you consider your priorities and daily use case, you can choose one of these phones. As both phones are pretty good, you can’t go wrong here.
