The first thing that we notice about the OPPO Find N2 Flip is its design. The screen of the smartphone folds down. This is more than just nostalgia bait. Folding the screen down reduces the overall footprint of the smartphone. That means we can easily carry the phone in our pocket. So, you could wear the skinniest of jeans and the OPPO Find N2 Flip will fit into your pocket regardless!
But it’s not just our pocket that the phone fits neatly into. It fits into our hands just as well. The rear panel of the smartphone features an elegant curve that delivers a smooth feel when we hold it. In fact, the whole phone perfectly fits into our hands, making it very comfortable to use.
All this is further helped by the overall dimensions of the phone itself. The whole phone weighs just 191g and is super slim at 7.45mm! This adds to its portability and style factor too. And who wouldn’t like that?

The second feature that turned our heads is the massive cover screen on the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Think of it as a little window into the phone itself. You can quickly glance at your notifications and even interact with some apps on the cover screen. In fact, it is the largest cover screen on any flip phone currently available. It has a size of 3.26 inches, with a 17:9 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 900nits. It also features Edge to Edge Glass on Glass between the frame and cover screen for a bezel-less experience that is quite the head turner if you ask us. It should also be noted that the cover screen features an always-on display. So, we can quickly see the time, date, battery level, and other notifications with just a glance.
This large size also gives us more flexibility when it comes to interacting with the apps on the display. It can show up to six notifications, thereby reducing unnecessary scrolling. We can also reply to messages directly from the cover screen via built-in and customised phrases. Another benefit was that we could also toggle settings via a single screen without the need to swipe around. Further, we were be able to access payment apps directly from the cover screen. Just what you need to make payments to vendors quickly and be on your way.
Of course, the cover screen is fully customisable with messages and stickers. There are also neat little touches such as the interactive pet live wallpaper. If you just want a good laugh, then you also have the option of setting up the cover screen to display your favourite reaction GIF!
Main Display: Flexible magic
With such a good cover display, let’s not forget that the OPPO Find N2 Flip also has a main display. And what a display it is. We were left awed by its massive 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 21:9 cinematic aspect ratio. This makes it great for watching movies or consuming multimedia content. On top of this, you also get a 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate which keeps things silky smooth!
OPPO’s engineers have also put a lot of thought into the display to make it easily legible. It offers a peak brightness of 1600nits. This should make it crisp and clear, even under bright sunlight. Speaking of which, it also comes with OPPO’s proprietary Anti-Reflection film. This makes the display reflect five times less glare as compared to other folding phones.
Of course, one notable issue plaguing folding smartphones is the crease on the display. The OPPO Find N2 Flip has the least visible crease of any flip phone. This is made possible by the new generation Flexion Hinge. When folded, it guides the phone’s flexible display into a soft waterdrop pattern along the crease line. This results in a 63 percent narrower crease as compared to the previous generation hinge. Further, when you close the phone, there is no hinge gap. This helps improve dust resistance and protects it from scratches.
And not to forget is the OPPO Find N2 Flip’s FlexForm mode. The specially designed cam systems on either side of the hinge provide the perfect amount of resistance, in combination with the friction plate, confidently holding the folding angle of your choice between 45º and 110º. The Flexion Hinge is built using aircraft-grade high-strength steel and aircraft-grade carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer. This makes it strong, but light. The coolest bit about the dual-rear setup is that when the phone is folded, it can be used for taking selfies. This is where the large cover screen comes on to its own. The larger screen of real estate gives users a better view when clicking photos. It also lets them use all the high-end features available with the cameras.
When you open the phone, you will notice that there is a front-facing camera that is nestled within a punch-hole cutout on the display. This is a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor.
