  • It will launch alongside the Find X9 Ultra.
  • The Find X9s is officially confirmed to launch with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset.

OPPO has possibly its biggest event of the year tomorrow, in China and globally. The OPPO Find X9 Ultra, its most advanced smartphone, is debuting alongside the Find X9s Pro, the OPPO Pad Mini, and more. These devices are launching in China and globally, too. But instead of the compact Find X9s Pro, OPPO is bringing the Find X9s, which appears to be a slightly toned-down version of the Pro model. OPPO could be looking at expanding its flagship lineup in the market with another new model. Now the OPPO Find X9s has been spotted on Geekbench, giving us an idea of what to expect in terms of performance.

OPPO Find X9s Geekbench details

An OPPO phone with the model number CPH2873 has been spotted on Geekbench, which is speculated to belong to the Find X9s. The Geekbench listing reveals a MediaTek octa-core chipset with 4 Cores @ 2.40 GHz, 3 Cores @ 3.30 GHz, and 1 Core @ 3.73 GHz. The architecture is the same as the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, which have already been confirmed for the OPPO Find X9s

The handset’s early Geekbench scores are 7881 multi-core and 2571 single-core. These scores are on the higher side in the segment, indicating flagship-level performance from the Find X9s. The listing further reveals Android 16 and 12GB of RAM for the OPPO Find X9s.

OPPO Find X9s specifications

The OPPO Find X9s is confirmed to feature a flat display with 1.15mm ultra-thin bezels. It may, however, not be as compact as the Find X9s Pro’s 6.3-inch display, and instead feature a 6.5-inch screen. The smartphone will house a large 7,025mAh battery, which should comfortably last longer than a day on regular to moderate usage. This battery capacity is slightly bigger than what phones like the Vivo X200T (6,200mAh) offer in the sub-flagship segment.

OPPO has also teased a 50MP triple-camera setup for the Find X9s. The cameras haven’t been detailed, but the setup could include a primary sensor, an ultra-wide, and a telephoto. This would make it a versatile camera setup, giving the phone an edge over other sub-flagships in the segment.

OPPO Find X9s India launch

The OPPO Find X9s is confirmed to launch in India with the Dimensity 9500s chipset. Its launch date hasn’t been revealed yet, but with the global debut confirmed, we could see it arrive here soon. The Find X9s could be a good option for a sub-flagship with a premium design, versatile cameras, a large battery, and flagship performance. Pricing is key here as the segment is already filled with popular options. If you’re currently using a phone from 2-3 generations ago and value battery life and camera versatility without breaking the bank, the Find X9s could be worth waiting for, especially if its price is competitive.
