Realme 15T has launched in India as the affordable mid-range model in the brand’s popular number series, joining the Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro. Priced under Rs 25,000, the Realme 15T offers a range of features, including a 50MP rear and front camera, a massive 7,000mAh battery, and up to IP69 dust and water protection. What sets the handset apart, however, is its relatively compact form factor. The Realme 15T features a 6.57-inch display, which is smaller than the average size in this segment. While not as pocket-friendly as the OnePlus 13s or Vivo X200 FE, Realme seems to be catering to a niche that prefers small-screen phones.
The Realme 15T is also quite slim, measuring 7.79mm, and it weighs 181g, making it one of the lightest phones under Rs 20,000. The phone features a matte-finished design with rounded corners and a triple-camera setup that’s very similar to the iPhone 16 Pro models. You also get an IP67, IP68, and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. The handset comes in three colours: Silk Blue, Suit Titanium, and Flowing Silver.
Alongside its handy 6.57-inch display, the Realme 15T also delivers up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness, among the highest in this segment. While rivals like the Infinix GT 30 and Moto G86 Power push that number to 4,500 nits, the difference isn’t likely to be noticeable in everyday use. The phone sports an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole selfie camera, and a “mini capsule” feature, a small Dynamic Island–style cutout that displays the weather, charging status, and other useful details.
The Realme 15T packs a 7,000mAh battery, something that’s starting to become a standard in the mid-range category. Realme says that this battery capacity should give you 13 hours of gaming, 128.5 hours of Spotify, and 25.3 hours of YouTube separately. The handset supports 60W fast charging, including bypass and reverse charging support. Bypass charging powers the phone directly from the charger, reducing heat and battery wear, and also making it easier to game with the charger plugged in. Realme also claims that five minutes of charge should give you 1 hour of gameplay, but this is something we’ll be able to confirm in our review of the 15T. Based on our review of the Realme 15, the phone’s 7,000mAh battery can easily last over a day with regular usage, so we should get a similar experience from the Realme 15T.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max chipset, which appears to be a beefed-up version of the Dimensity 6400. We don’t have the benchmark numbers yet to differentiate between the two chipsets. However, we can say that the Dimensity 6400 Max might still be lower powered compared to the Dimensity 7400, Dimensity 7300, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 in this price segment. Additionally, you get a 6050mm² vapour chamber, which is 3.5 times bigger than its predecessor, the Realme 14T, so the Realme 15T promises better thermal efficiency.
The Realme 15T’s camera design gives the illusion of a triple-camera setup, but that’s not the case here. The smartphone has a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera. It also has a 50MP selfie camera, and AI features including AI Edit Genie, AI Snap Mode, AI Landscape, AI Eraser, and AI Smart Image Matting. There’s also a Soft Light feature with five filters: Deja Vu, Retro, Misty, Glowy, and Dreamy. The Realme 15 stood out for its selfie performance, so the 15T shouldn’t disappoint either.
With the Realme 15T, the brand introduces a strong contender priced just above Rs 20,000 and under Rs 25,000. It comes in higher than the Realme 14T, which launched in India earlier this year at Rs 17,999. The price bump suggests Realme is reshuffling its number series lineup, something we already saw when the Realme 15 Pro replaced the Pro+ model. While this might appear to be an attempt to simplify choices, the lineup still seems crowded with the launch of the P4 (under Rs 20,000) and the P4 Pro at Rs 24,999, which sits just below the Realme 15 (Rs 25,999). Our review will help break down these dynamics and show where the Realme 15T fits among its peers.
Based on just the specs alone, the Realme 15T appears to offer a mix of durability, long-lasting battery life, and a more pocket-friendly design. However, its Dimensity 6400 Max chipset may feel underpowered compared to rivals in the same price band, especially for heavy gamers. The 15T still stands out if your priorities are battery life, camera quality, and a handy form factor. For everyday users, the 15T could be a practical choice, but power-hungry users may want to consider other options. Stay tuned for our detailed review where we clear all these doubts.
