Realme could be gearing up to launch two new smartphones under its budget C-series. The smartphones in question are the Realme C100 and Realme C100i, and both of them have shown up in a hands-on video from Thailand. This suggests that the new Realme C100 smartphones could be launching in Thailand soon. Realme’s C-series caters to the budget segment, offering its most affordable smartphones, even in the entry-level category.
There’s no word, though, on whether the Realme C100 and C100i will arrive in India or not. Although the brand does have a strong portfolio of C-series phones here.
The Realme C100 and C100i unboxing images were shared by Thai publication iphone-droid.net. Here, a series of images showing off the design, accessories, and colour variants of the Realme C100 lineup are visible in the report. In terms of design, the Realme C100 and C100i look slightly different, but both look premium with a striking finish. The Realme C100i has a vertical camera bar with two sensors and the LED flash on the right side. The Realme C100 also has a vertical camera design, but with a flashy background surrounding it. Both phones are available in two colour options: purple and silver.

Realme C100, C100i specifications
According to the report, the Realme C100 and C100i both house a 7,000mAh battery. Considering these phones sit in the budget segment, the battery capacity is impressive and should be able to deliver two days of usage comfortably. The upcoming Realme C-series phones are also getting an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, along with ArmorShell protection. This is typical for phones in the budget segment. Both phones also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a practical option for those who still prefer wired earphones.
Up front is a 6.8-inch LCD HD+ (1570×720 pixels) display with a maximum brightness of 900 nits and a 144Hz refresh rate on the Realme C100. This would make the C100 a good option for gaming since it has a high refresh rate. The Realme C100i also has a 6.8-inch LCD display with the same resolution but a 120Hz refresh rate. This is still more than enough for a smooth scrolling experience. It’s a waterdrop notch on both phones, which may look dated compared to newer phones.
The Realme C100 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G, which should be good enough for regular usage. The Realme C100i gets a slightly inferior Unisoc T606/T616-class chip, which may not be powerful enough but should be capable for basic tasks. The Realme C100i also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. For optics, you get a 50MP main camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies.
The Realme C100 and C100i are clearly targeted at the budget segment based on their specifications. With the C100, Realme is offering some premium specs like a 144Hz display at an accessible price. If you’re upgrading from an old phone, then you can consider the Realme C100 for its smooth display, large battery, and capable chipset. The Realme C100i would be the affordable alternative, but expect a slightly inferior chipset and 4G connectivity only.
