Redmi is preparing to launch a new performance-focused smartphone in China this month. It’s the Redmi K90 Max, which will be the third phone in the lineup after the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max. The latest addition to the lineup appears to primarily target gamers and power users. The brand has been teasing the phone, revealing its design and other features. Now, the launch date has been officially revealed along with key details about the phone’s display.

Redmi K90 Max display details

The Redmi K90 Max is confirmed to feature a 6.83-inch M10 display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is also said to offer 160 FPS support for over 40 games. That’s a tall claim, but if possible, it would mean ultra-smooth graphics. The Redmi K90 Max’s display will also offer a 3500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and a 480Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate. The display specs are clearly made for gamers. It’s a large screen with a high refresh rate aimed at a smooth gaming experience. But it should be equally good for normal scrolling and content consumption as well.
