The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra is launching in India on July 17th. The handset will go on sale via Amazon.in where its microsite has already gone live, confirming its design and colour options. The Camon 50 Ultra comes in three colour choices: Nebula Titanium, Cypress Green, and Misty Purple. All three variants will have a dual-tone finish at the back and curved edges. The Cypress Green also features contrasting edges.

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra was showcased earlier this year at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, Spain. The details about whether the Indian variant will have the same specifications as the one introduced globally remain to be seen.
To jog your memories, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra debuted a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling, gaming and multimedia consumption. The panel also features a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, which should improve outdoor visibility, while Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection is expected to add durability against everyday wear and tear.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Software-wise, it boots Android 16-based HiOS 16 out of the box, bringing the latest software features and AI enhancements from Tecno. For photography, the Camon 50 Ultra 5G sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it houses a 13MP selfie camera. The device also supports 4K video recording at up to 30fps, making it capable of capturing high-resolution videos.

These include IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810 certification for improved durability. The smartphone also packs a sizeable 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support, which should comfortably last through a full day of heavy use.
