Ultrahuman Ring Pro launched globally with 15-day battery life, Jade AI rolls out for all users
Ultrahuman has launched the Ring Pro, its third-generation smart ring, alongside a new AI layer called Jade. Announced in London on February 27th, the Ring PRO is available to pre-order globally including with shipments starting in March. The US is the only major market excluded at launch.
The Ring Pro builds on the Ultrahuman Ring Air, which helped the Bengaluru-based company gain visibility in the smart ring category when it launched in June 2023. The biggest change this time is battery life. Ultrahuman claims up to 15 days on a single charge, a significant jump from the roughly 4-6 days reported with the Ring Air.

The 15-day claim also compares favourably with rivals. The Oura Ring 4 is rated for around 7-8 days, while Samsung’s Galaxy Ring typically lasts up to seven days depending on usage and phone integration features. If real-world performance matches Ultrahuman’s estimate, fewer charging cycles could become an advantage for users who want continuous tracking without interruption.
A new Pro Charging Case accompanies the ring, offering up to 45 days of additional battery and features such as a built-in speaker to help locate the case. While these additions don’t introduce new health metrics, they focus on usability, which tells us the company is learning from experience.
The new model retains a lightweight titanium build but shifts to a unibody design for durability. Ultrahuman says it has redesigned the heart-rate sensing system for better accuracy during sleep and recovery, and added a dual-core processor to improve on-device processing. The ring can also store up to 250 days of data, which may help users who travel or spend time off-grid.
At USD 479 (around Rs 43,600 before taxes), the Ultrahuman Ring Pro sits in the premium bracket, likely competing with the Samsung Galaxy Ring, though final India pricing will determine who its closest competitor is. It’s offered in Bionic Gold, Space Silver, Aster Black, and Raw Titanium finishes, and comes in sizes 5 to 14.
Jade: AI layered on top of existing data
Alongside the hardware, Ultrahuman has introduced Jade, an AI system that analyses data from the ring and other Ultrahuman services such as blood biomarkers and continuous glucose monitoring. The goal is to identify patterns and suggest actions rather than simply show charts.
In practical terms, this could mean prompts for breathwork, alerts for irregular heart rhythms, or insights that combine sleep, glucose trends, and activity. Unlike many AI features that sit behind subscriptions, Jade is rolling out to all Ultrahuman users globally, including existing Ring Air owners.
For users in India, Ultrahuman’s advantage has been local availability and support, something competitors like Oura have never offered officially. The decision to upgrade from the Ring Air will likely come down to battery life and refinement. For new buyers, the Ring Pro makes a case if you want health tracking without wearing a watch. Those already using smartwatches from Apple, Samsung, or Garmin may still prefer the broader app ecosystems and on-device features those platforms offer.
