Vivo S60 series confirmed to launch in China on May 29th
Vivo has officially scheduled May 29th as the launch date for its upcoming Vivo S60 series in China. The company is already teasing a strong focus on photography, premium design, and multimedia features for the upcoming Vivo S60 lineup. The new lineup is expected to launch in India too, but under a different branding strategy. The Vivo S60 series is expected to include at least two smartphones: the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60e. Rumours had also pointed toward a Vivo S60 Pro Mini model, though Vivo has not mentioned the device yet. It remains unclear whether the company plans to unveil it later or if development plans have changed entirely.
Vivo S60 series: what to expect
Design appears to be one of the major talking points this year. Vivo says the S60 series introduces a new silver-white colour finish inspired by reflections on the summer sea. According to the company, the rear panel creates shifting light patterns depending on viewing angles, continuing Vivo’s recent trend of pushing visually distinctive finishes in its mid-premium smartphones.
