Vivo’s next V-series phone is starting to take shape ahead of launch, with early details pointing to how the brand plans to position it within its own lineup. With the Vivo V70 FE (roundup) that launches on April 2nd in India, the focus appears to be on creating a lower entry point below the existing V70 models. A new leak has shed on those details.

Vivo V70 FE India price leak suggests sub-Rs 40,000 pricing
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the 8GB + 128GB storage variant carries a box MRP of Rs 41,999, while the expected selling price will be Rs 37,999. This pricing puts the V70 FE below the rest of the V70 lineup and closer to key upper mid-range rivals. For context, the other models of the Vivo V70 lineup, the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite, started at Rs 45,999 and Rs 52,999 respectively. Both offer telephoto cameras but the new FE model drops that hardware and lowers the entry point.
If the Rs 37,999 leaked price is true, the Vivo V70 FE will sit against the likes of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, Realme 16 Pro+, OPPO Reno 15C and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Realme 16 Pro+ are based on faster chipsets and performance, while the Reno 15C stays closer to camera and design. Vivo V70 FE specifications: what we know so far
The Vivo V70 FE has launched in Indonesia and based on teasers, we know what it’s going to offer. The phone keeps a 200MP OIS main camera, but skips the telephoto lens present on the V70 and V70 Elite. It pairs this with a 7,000mAh battery and 90W charging, which is slightly larger than the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ but at par with the Realme 16 Pro+.
The phone is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, the same as the V60e, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It also includes a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with IP68 and IP69 ratings and a six-year security update promise.
