The Vivo X300 FE is expected to debut in India soon, succeeding last year’s Vivo X200 FE, which was positioned as a compact sub-flagship. The device has already surfaced in an official listing in Russia, revealing its design and key specifications. However, the Indian variant could stand out with an exclusive colour option. Vivo has a track record of introducing market-specific finishes, and this time, the X300 FE is tipped to arrive in a distinctive green shade tailored for India.
Vivo X300 FE India-exclusive colour
The Vivo X300 FE is available in Moonlight White, Cool Purple, and Graphite Black colours. In India, the handset is expected to arrive in Black, Purple, and Green, with the latter being exclusive to India, according to a report by SmartPrix. The green finish looks quite striking and sleek at the same time. It isn’t too loud either, keeping the look and feel premium. The Vivo X300 FE will also debut a new design, quite different from its predecessor. Vivo has replaced the vertical camera setup with a horizontal one, which may remind one of the iPhone Air’s design.

The Vivo X300 is also being positioned as a “Fashion Edition,” like the recently launched Vivo V70 FE. The smartphone is said to blend flagship-grade performance with a slimmer, more stylish form factor, targeting users who want power without the bulk.
Vivo X300 FE specifications
- 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
- 50MP primary sensor, 50MP telephoto lens, 8MP ultra-wide camera, Zeiss branding
- 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired fast charging, 40W wireless charging
With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, the Vivo X300 FE would sit in the flagship-level category in terms of raw performance. OnePlus 15R and iQOO 15R, two phones known for their performance, are also powered by the same chipset. The 6,500mAh battery remains unchanged, but it should still be enough for an entire day’s usage. The Vivo X300 FE’s camera setup also offers enough versatility for casual and photography enthusiasts.
Vivo has yet to officially tease the X300 FE for India, but with multiple leaks and rumours, it’s expected to arrive here soon. Tipster Yogesh Brar predicts the Vivo X300 FE will launch in early May.
Based on what we know so far, the Vivo X300 FE looks particularly appealing if you want a compact flagship without sacrificing performance and camera quality, especially for portraits. The handset seems worth waiting for, but the ultimate buying decision should still be based on comparisons with rivals. As for Vivo X200 FE users, it would be wise to see if the upgrades are significant.
