Vivo X300 FE is shaping up to be one of the brand’s most anticipated upcoming compact smartphones. It will succeed last year’s Vivo X200 FE, a model that helped push compact phones back into the spotlight. The X300 FE now appears to be moving closer to launch, as it has received two key certifications, including approvals from TUV and Singapore’s IMDA. The phone has also been spotted on BIS, suggesting an India launch could be on the cards as well.
This points to Vivo continuing to invest in the compact form factor, a trend that has gained momentum recently with devices like the OPPO Reno 15 Pro Mini. With the X300 series already representing Vivo’s flagship lineup, the X300 FE could further expand the brand’s presence in the compact premium segment.
These certifications don’t explicitly mention the phone’s name, but the model number V2537 is believed to be associated with the Vivo X300 FE. Singapore’s IMDA certification reveals the phone’s connectivity features, such as NFC support. It also confirms the X300 FE’s arrival in Singapore. The TUV certification is more important as it confirms 90W fast charging support for the X300 FE. This is the same as the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, and also the S50 Pro Mini, which is speculated to launch as the X300 FE outside China.
These certifications, including those already confirmed like BIS and Bluetooth SIG, suggest the Vivo X300 FE’s imminent launch. It could be earlier this time as its predecessor, the X200 FE, launched in India last July. The Vivo X300 FE has also been spotted on Geekbench with a Qualcomm chipset, featuring six 3.32GHz cores and two 3.80GHz cores, and an Adreno 829 GPU. This setup confirms it’s the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset running on the Vivo X300 FE, further adding to the speculation that it’s a rebrand of the S50 Pro Mini.

Since it’s most likely a rebrand of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, the X300 FE could feature a 6.3-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness. Camera specs could include a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera at the back, and a 50MP selfie camera. The handset is also tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a big shift from MediaTek. This chipset powers the OnePlus 15R, which is a proven top performer.
The Vivo X300 FE could also house a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. This is the same battery capacity as the X200 FE. More expected details include LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and OriginOS 6 based on Android 17.
With the X300 FE’s launch coming closer, buyers will soon have a new compact flagship in the market. The smartphone could be the overall compact flagship package without the flagship price tag. You’d be getting a versatile camera setup, flagship-level performance, and reliable battery life with the Vivo X300 FE if it does launch with the specs mentioned. On paper, the X300 FE does sound pretty good, but with no official confirmation yet, it’s best to wait for more details before making any decision.
