Vivo X500 E was recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG and Google Play Console databases, suggesting an imminent launch. The smartphone is expected to launch as a successor to the Vivo X300 E, which debuted earlier this year in July. There’s not much known about the Vivo X500 E, with some speculating it will launch as a Vivo V80 rebrand. 91mobiles has now spotted the X500 E on the Google Play Console listing, this time with its key specs and image.
Vivo X500 E Google Play Console listing details
Vivo X500 E has appeared on the Google Play Console database with the model number V2648. It has been listed with a Qualcomm SM7750 chipset, which is widely known as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. This is also the same chipset powering the Vivo V80. The listing also reveals the X500 E’s display will come with 1260 x 2750 pixels resolution and 8GB of RAM. We also get a look at the front design of the X500 E, confirming it’s a flat panel with a punch-hole camera.
There’s not much else known about the Vivo X500 E, but it’s tipped to feature a 64MP periscope telephoto camera and a 7,500mAh battery. These specs would make the X500 E stand out with the combination of a versatile telephoto camera and a large battery. It would also be different from the Vivo V80, which has a 50MP camera and a 7,200mAh battery.
Since all these details are based on speculation, it’s too early to say if Vivo is indeed launching the X500 E as a rebrand or not. Also, the Vivo V80 is already available in India, so the X500 E could be limited to select markets. We should wait for more concrete information before coming to conclusions. But the X500 E could still be what you’re waiting for if you’ve been looking for a Vivo flagship at a more accessible price.
