Vivo X500 Pro Max allegedly found in records, expected to be fourth model in the lineup
With the recent addition of an Ultra model to its flagship lineup, Vivo now appears to be preparing to introduce a Pro Max variant as well. However, the new model is unlikely to arrive before the launch of the next-generation Vivo X500 series, which will succeed the current X300 lineup.
Rumours surrounding the upcoming series have already started circulating online, suggesting that the lineup could be Vivo’s largest flagship portfolio yet. Last week, three alleged models, the Vivo X500, X500e, and X500 Pro, were reportedly spotted on the GSM Association’s IMEI database. Now, a fourth model, dubbed the Vivo X500 Pro Max, has also surfaced on the database.

Vivo X500 Pro Max IMEI database & launch timeline
The Vivo X500 Pro Max has been spotted on the IMEI database by Smartprix. It was added to the record on May 11th. While the database doesn’t confirm the smartphone other than the moniker, it seemingly reinforces speculation that Vivo is preparing to launch the smartphone later this year.
To recall, Vivo introduced its previous two flagship generations, including the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, December. If the company follows a similar launch schedule this year, the Vivo X500 Pro Max could debut around the same time alongside the Vivo X500, X500e, and X500 Pro.
Vivo X500 Pro Max specifications (rumoured)
Separately, a reliable tipster on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo has split the beans on the Vivo X500 Pro Max key specifications. The handset is tipped to sport a 6.9-inch display, a 50MP main camera using a LOFIC sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and a multispectral sensor.
The handset is likely to be positioned above the existing ‘Pro’ model, with a more formidable camera setup. While it is not confirmed yet, the company is expected to continue with its Ultra model with the upcoming series. The alleged Vivo X500 Ultra could be the fifth model in the lineup, which will presumably arrive by early 2027 and offer a more capable camera system than the X500 Pro Max.
