Of course, battery life is a key aspect and is something that the Intel® Evo™ platform has focused on in the past. This time around, Intel® Evo™ Edition laptops will have to offer 10 hours or more battery life on laptops with a Full HD display based on real-world usage. Fast charging has been a key aspect of any Intel® Evo-certified laptop and things haven’t changed on that front. So, you can expect to get up to four hours or more worth of battery life with just a 30-minute charge on laptops with a Full HD display. But that’s not all. With Instant Wake, you can wake the laptop from sleep in less than 1 second. So you can get back to work in no time.
Connectivity has always been a strong suit of Intel® Evo™ laptops and things continue to remain the same. All Intel® Evo™ Edition Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra laptops feature Intel® Wi-Fi 7E (Gig+) connectivity. This allows the laptops to access the 6GHz spectrum for lower latency and increased reliability. Accompanying this is Intel’s Connectivity Performance Suite which optimises the network connectivity.
Finally, we have Intel® Unison™. This feature was introduced in the 13th Gen Intel® Core-powered Evo™ laptops and has been updated to offer even more. As was the case earlier, users will be able to connect their Android and iOS smartphones to their laptops and receive calls, messages, and notifications on their laptops.
