Considering the price bracket, Lava manages to deliver good specs including a good display, the latest Android OS, decent internal storage and good connectivity options. Though battery is rather average at 2500mAh, it should be borne in mind that this is a budget tab and cannot provide the power backup of a high-end tab. In fact, considering the other features of this device, it should be ideal for anyone seeking a performer among budget tablets.
Display and Configuration
The new Velo Plus sports a 7 inches WVGA (480 x 800 pixels resolution) TFT display which is capable of rendering decent visuals. Running on the newest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the processor is equally decent at 1000MHz (Cortex-A8) and when paired with 512MB of RAM, can deliver fast processing of day-to-day tasks.
Camera and Storage
A 0.3MP front camera allows one to stay in touch with loved ones through video chat, Skype, etc. The 4GB of internal storage is sufficient for storing one's favorite multimedia as well as important documents.
Connectivity and Battery
Connectivity on this tablet is good, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro-USB connectivity being provided. Lava has given this device a 2500mAh battery for taking care of power needs.
So, I have got to say one thing before I go on to the Tab itself. i have to say that Lava has really done it this time! The E-tab is great for a guy with a Tight budget, With the Mali Dual 400 and Jellybean, what a combination. Also I've noticed that Flip kart has left out a lot of specs. Let me list them out for the cautious.nnBuilt in apps. Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Latitude, Google Chrome, Google Play, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Reader, Documents on the gonnDisplay: 800x600 WVGA. nnG SensornnSo yeah, I will now get to the Pros and ConsnStarting With 'cons' n#1-> No Bluetoothn#2-> The Screen looks grainyn#3-> Weak Batteryn#4-> Hangs a bit.n#5-> The screen rotation is irritating.n#6-> The 4 GB Internal is a Lie, It comes with only 1.15 gigsn#7-> Ram Is a lie, Not 512 but 250MB.... nnNow, The 'pros'n#1-> Awesome displayn#2-> HD Video playbackn#3-> No lag in major games (i,e Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja, Subway Surfers, Temple Run 1&2)n#4-> Stable but Great Graphics n#5-> State of the art User Interfacen#6-> Processor (though Under powered) Is managing the Multitasking very well.n#7-> Motion Gaming with low graphics is good nnWell, Overall, I'd give it 4/5 It is a bit laggy and buggy but hey, Its a Budget Tab, what would you expect. The memory can be freed up by removing all of the movies pre installed. Its good for beginners.
Please do not buy this tablet as it is not worth it at all.nnPathetic display. Pathetic Multitasking. Pathetic sound.nnAlso pathetic seller who sent me an old tab instead of a new one. GodsGrace was the name I think.
