Verdict

The Lenovo Ideapad 310 (80SM01DXIH) laptop has a red colored body which looks elegant and has good battery backup. The performance of the system is also good for daily usage but it misses out on a preinstalled Windows OS and a dedicated GPU. However, there aren't many laptops that offer a preinstalled Windows OS and a dedicated graphics processor at the same price. Hence, this laptop is, by no means, a bad option for the users.

Display and Configuration

With the Lenovo Ideapad 310 (80SM01DXIH) laptop, comes a 15.6-inch HD LED display which features a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. For running the system, there is a 2.3GHz Intel core i3-6100U processor which performs at a speed of 2.3GHz. It is assisted by 4GB of DDR4 RAM and inbuilt Intel HD 520 GPU. The red colored laptop weighs 2.2Kg, measures 379 x 260 x 22.9mm and boots on DOS operating system.

Camera, Input Devices, and Connectivity

A 720p HD webcam is available for video calling and recording purposes. Input devices include a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support, a standard keyboard, and a 9mm DVD drive. For networking and sharing, the laptop offers a wide range of options such as Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, one USB 3.0 slot, one USB 2.0 slot, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port.

Battery and Storage

Acting as an energy booster is a 4 cell li-ion battery which claims to render a backup up to five hours when fully charged. As far as the storage is concerned, there is a 1TB SATA hard disk with 5,400RPM speed, which performs well in grounds of cut, copy, paste, edit, file transfer etc.
